GEOMETER'S SCETCHPAD

This programme is perfect to show geometrical shapes and calculate their magnitudes.If  I compare desmos and this programme, i can say that desmos has more complex capability for functions but geometer's sketchpad is more suitable for middle and high school students.Also this program is focus on geometry.

By using this programme, you can easily show geometric shapes and patterns.Also, different color options may be interesting for students.

Another speciality of this programme is that magnitudes are calculated and written easily on the page.Students can see changing magnitudes and effect of this changes on the shapes and patterns.Furthermore, they see shapes motion like slider.

Ofcourse, this programme allows to show graphics, too.Students skew graphics and compare them.They can give the different colors to graphics.

This programme evaluate the area of the shapes, find the angle values, determine the magnitude of lengths etc.So, students understand the relationship different magnitudes easily.

Desmos is a perfect graphic calculator for every one from every age and mathematics skills.If you are a primary school teacher, you can teach the place of points on the coordinate system 

If you are a middle school teacher and you want to teach linear equation systems and talk about y=mx+b equations, you can show the changing of graph for x and y values.You can show that m is the slope the graphic.Also, this programme let to show the continious changing of graphics  by sliders.So, it may be interesting for little students.

If you are a high school teacher, you can do much more things by using desmos.For example you can use  this programe for teaching functions.Also, you can teach trigonometric equations, trigonometric functions  their graphics and periods.
